The beginnings of the third of four border panels on the Hunt Scene floorcloth. I thought I’d leave this one very “sketchy” so you can see how I develop these paintings. I start with the horses, add the hounds, then suggest the background. When I get to the actual painting it get reversed- background first, then horses then hounds and whatever is in the foreground.
