The folks at theDorset Equine Rescue are excited to give you a sneak peek at the painting that will be featured in their Live Auction at the Grand Prix Luncheon on July 18!

Inspired by the magnificent Friesian horses rescued by The Dorset Equine Rescue, this striking original acrylic on canvas measures an impressive 4½ feet wide by 3 feet high. Generously donated by renowned Vermont artist Lisa Curry Mair, this one-of-a-kind piece is sure to become a treasured addition to any home or collection.

Working from her studio at the historic Henry Gould Farm in Perkinsville, Vermont, Lisa has created more than 1,500 handcrafted paintings and murals since founding Canvasworks Designs in 1992. Her work is featured in private collections, historic homes, and museums throughout North America and Europe.

Retail Value $2,800 and Opening Bid: $1,200

Tickets for the event are sold out, but you can still participate by submitting an absentee bid. Simply complete the absentee bid form here and email it to events@dorsetequinerescue.org. They’ll place your bids on your behalf during the live auction.
