This 20″ X 44″ canvas on board landscape shows the crafty fox out for a stroll in the early morning light. Three horses quietly graze in the distance. Serenity and peace abounds through Curry Mair’s use of soft, earthy tones, long shadows and undulating perspective. The fox shows up in many of her paintings with a harmless interplay with other animals as an homage to Edward Hicks’ Peaceable Kingdom series.
