Checks with Simple Borders
The most basic floorcloth designs can be as simple as a solid color on the inside and a complimentary color in the border. This creates a bold statement in any space.The next level of complexity is a geometric pattern, like checks, on the inside with a solid border in the same color or a contrasting color. To add more interest, a stripe on the inside and on the outside of the border can be added (as shown above).

Pricing on these basic floorcloths starts at $30/square foot. Prices increase as options are added. There is a minimum size of 50 square feet. Typical sizes are 8′ X 10′ and 9′ X 12′. Lisa enjoys focusing her attention on large, artistic pieces. She does not create small, kitchen sink or entry doormat floorcloths. Wood Grained Checks
This rustic-looking floorcloth uses three colors (Georgian Brick, Richmond Gold and Antique Pewter) with faux wood graining.
Checks with Five Colors
The interior checks in Sussex Green and Monterey White are surrounded by squares of Hale Navy and Somerville Red then Cottage Red around the outside.
Oblong Octagon Checks
This oblong octagon works great under an oval dining table or in any space where there is a lot of traffic. Cut off corners reduce tripping hazards.
Black & White Squares
Large black and white squares make a strong visual impact. Sussex Green border stripe softens it a bit.
