Joseph Smith Farmhouse Museum, Palmyra, NY

The Joseph Smith Farmhouse Museum was the boyhood home of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement. The farm and museum includes the Sacred Grove, the Smith’s restored frame home, and a reconstructed log home. The farm was passed into ownership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1916, and the buildings were restored in 1990’s.
