This is a beautiful design of artichokes, berries and leaves winding their way around the border of this central check design. The center checks are Monterey White and Black, the border has a background of Waterbury Cream, washed with Lenox Tan. The smaller checks around the edges are Cottage Red and Dorset Gold applied with a watercolor effect for transparency. The artichoke, berries and leaf details are painstakingly hand-painted in earthy shades of greens, reds and golds.
