When a friend posted a photo of her horse boldly jumping a coop in the woods, while she elegantly balanced herself aside, I knew I had to doodle this! Then, when I really got studying it, I wanted to zero in on the riding habit- the subtle waves of fabric and the tension in her left arm as she allowed the horse’s head the freedom it needed for making the jump. So I created a pencil sketch of her. What a great way to start the day!
