Yesterday Bart and I went for a drive around some of the prettiest places right near us. Everything is shockingly green! It seems like the delayed onset of spring has created an explosion of color this year. There was one filed we came across that was SO bright green I said, “If I painted that, nobody would believe me!” So I painted it this morning. This is just a little (3″x3″) oil on canvas to try to capture that overwhelming color and brightness.
