Right across the Connecticut River from me is a beautiful town called Cornish, NH. Last weekend I was driving up the road which meanders along the river past old houses, rolling fields and the distant view of Mount Ascutney when I came across this great barn. The light was perfect. I snapped a shot and sketched out a pencil drawing. Yesterday I turned the sketch into a little 8″x8″ painting. It’s so much fun to capture these little scenes. Peace, color and light. All the things that seem to be missing in our world right now.
