Wishing you a wonderful holiday and the very best of New Years!
As I write this, I’m snuggled in at my desk with piles of boxes and wrapping paper spread all over my studio work table next to me. Every year I bring it upon myself to make just about every gift I give. Stuff gets painted, or sewn or otherwise created. I have no idea whether my friends and family would prefer to have a gift card from LL Bean, but they get stuff made by me instead. My hope is that a little bit of my heart shows in each piece I create and that maybe they think of me for a brief second as they try to figure out what on earth they are going to do with yet another “Lisa Gift”!
Our house is cozy and simply decorated with all the stuff I have made and collected over the years. I’ve put together a little slide show for you. Enjoy!
Happy Holidays Lisa! LOVED seeing bits of your home.. Somehow I’m not surprised seeing all the horse themes! Especially LOVE the paper bag angel though…… How sweet! Any chance you remember how you created her?
So happy you are enjoying your endeavor! A happy and fulfilling 2017 to you and yours!
Best, Bernadette Sheehan
Loved it! Thanks for sharing. Remember the NS floor cloth workshop with fondness. Cheers to 2017!
Thanks for sharing, Lisa! Beautiful and so cozy. We wish you and your family a very merry and blessed Christmas and a wonderful 2017,
Thankyou for sharing that beautiful experience.
Wishing you and your family a blessed holiday and a Happy New Year.
Loved the slide show – a very cozy and warm house. Where’s the cat? Merry Christmas to you and the family and may your New Year be filled with warmth and good cheer.
Thank you so much for the pretty slideshow. I loved seeing your wonderful handmade treasures and your beautiful house. A very merry Christmas to you and your family. You will be hearing from me in the new year when my addition is finished.
All the best at Christmas and through 2017 to you and Bart and the family.
Great seeing you two years in a row!
Loved your sharing these special things as I have also enjoyed doing myself. The golden horseshoe is my favorite!
Merry Christmas to you and yours. And, thank you for the slide show. Very pretty, each pic.
Happy Holidays Lisa. There must be a birdhouse somewhere on that tree……..
I genuinely love your website and want to learn to make floor cloths for just my own home as well as commission one or two from you in the future. I am interviewing and as soon as I land a professional position. I will be in touch for supplies and a design by you.
Happy Holidays!
I enjoyed your Christmas slide show. I have lately been exploring the simplicity of the Scandinavian Christmas, and the “meaningful simplicity” of your slideshow spoke to that a la New England and making one’s own Christmas objects.

Happy holidays to you and yours .may 2017 be even better than the last.
