Starting January 1, 2023, would you like to get a little help in moving your creativity/ art/ imagination forward with gentle nudges every day?
The goal is this: 100 Days of creating something you can call your own each day. That’s it.
Would you like to discover a better way to draw or paint? Do you want to be a more creative person? Do you want to have some fun during the cold winter months?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, you will LOVE a 100 Day Creativity Challenge!
Some common statements (and my response to them):
“Oh, I don’t have time!” All you need is 15 minutes each day.
“I don’t want to have to buy art supplies.” I suggest one sketchbook, which can cost less than $15 and a pencil. You can use whatever you like beyond that, but that’s really the minimum you need. And you don’t HAVE to draw or paint. It could be taking photographs, making collages, decorating cookies… ANYTHING that springs from YOUR imagination!
“I wouldn’t know what to work on.” I will give you a daily prompt. You can choose to use it, or do something completely different.
“I have trouble sticking to anything that long.” This is habit forming! And that’s the whole point! And you’ll be part of a group cheering each other on. You’ll be part of a community. Everyone will have their own struggles and successes and you’ll get to share it all!
“Why are you charging for it?” There will be a small fee of $25 (that works out to 25¢/ day!) which is there just to make you a tiny bit accountable. My hope is if you pay that, you’ll at least give it a chance and before you know it, you’ll be hooked and you’ll stick with it.
After you’ve paid, I’ll send you the link to a private Facebook Group which will be where you go to find the day’s challenge and to see what everyone is doing. I encourage you to snap a photo of your creation each day and post it to the group with a little comment about your process, or what you like/don’t like about it, what you learned from doing it, etc.
Throughout the 100 days I’ll be giving you all some suggestions and lots of encouragement. How fun would it be to meet up (on Zoom maybe?) at the beginning of April to see how we all feel about the process, what we’ve learned and where we want to go from there?
