Yesterday I ventured out on Kate for our first solo trail ride of the year. She’s a good girl and only got a little worried when a doe and fawn appeared! This field is on the other side of our Ascutney Notch, which separates Big and Little Ascutney Mountains. I ride up through the woods and come out on the other side to this glorious hay field with breathtaking distant views.
