Old Vermont Barn 10- Henry Gould Rd. Barn 2
This little barn sits at what is now the end of Henry Gould Road. It is close to its house, a perfect white cape, at the base of Mount Ascutney. The sheep pastures running up the mountain behind it are evidenced by the stone walls weaving their ways through the woods which have grown back since the passing of “Merino Mania”.
The original 12″ x 16″ artwork is a combination of painting, torn papers, prints and textural washes to create an image as varied and complex as the old barn itself. This painting has been sold.
