The artist’s barn is captured in time. The background sky is painted over text from the pages of an antique encyclopedia, referencing Vermont and its agricultural history. The artist renders sheep and cows in the clouds behind the great old barn where they may have resided.

The original 8″ x 10″ artwork is a combination of painting, torn papers, prints and textural washes to create an image as varied and complex as the old barn itself. This painting has been sold.
