Yesterday when I got to the barn to ride Kate, I found her comfortably napping in the sun with two of her buddies. It’s so nice to know she’s completely relaxed and comfortable in this sometimes-busy barnyard. She has a bunch of big old domestic geese which live right next to her paddock. They squawk and hiss most of the day and they try to intimidate her to no avail! She thinks they’re funny and walks up to them and sticks her fuzzy muzzle through the fence with her cheerful ears up and curious. I love her confidence and laid back attitude!
